NAICS

Background
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) was developed jointly by the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to provide new comparability in statistics about business activity across North America. NAICS has replaced the U.S. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) system as the main structure for the collection, aggregation, presentation, and analysis of the US economy. NAICS allows for the identification of 1,170 industries compared to the 1,004 found in the SIC system. CDH provides you with a consolidated view of NAICS and SIC information that is downloadable in easily readable and uploadable formats.
